Almost two decades after his first late-night talk show went off the air in 1994, Arsenio Hall returns to the time period with ``The Arsenio Hall Show.'' The original show was known for its energetic ``dog pound'' in its studio audience and some iconic moments, most notably then-Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton, whom Hall describes as a ``dream guest,'' playing the saxophone during his first presidential campaign in 1992. This show has a similar vibe but in a more subdued form, as Hall and his original viewers are 20 years older than they were in the '90s. But the original show isn't totally forgotten on the new version as clips from the older show -- including early TV appearances by Will Smith and Mariah Carey, who have since shot to superstardom -- are sprinkled through the new episodes.
