Premise: Found-footage movies have become a popular genre of cinema over the past several years, largely based on the success of 1999's ``The Blair Witch Project.'' ``Stranded'' takes the found-footage idea and applies it to reality TV. In each hourlong episode, a group of three people, usually paranormal enthusiasts, is brought to a haunted location and stranded there for a week. The participants are given hand-held video cameras to record the entire experience, and that video -- along with footage from strategically placed security cameras -- is used to create a firsthand account of the experience. Throughout the week, the participants' feelings of fear and desolation increase, resulting in an experiment of psychology and the paranormal. The haunted locales range from a former prison to a one-time hospital.
