The phrase ``urban jungle'' has a distinct meaning for the members of the Animal Police team of Florida's Miami-Dade Police Department Animal Services Unit. The men and women of this team deal with roughly 2,000 calls per month from residents in their 2,000-square-mile turf, summoning them to deal with problems such as alligators on the freeway, cults that sacrifice animals, and pythons in public restrooms.
