Premise: ``Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed.'' OK, maybe there aren't any Jeds on ``Bayou Billionaires,'' but the Dowden family of Shreveport, La., is like a modern, real-life version of the Clampett clan from ``The Beverly Hillbillies.'' The hardworking family's fortunes changed when it was discovered that their home sits on the fourth-largest deposit of natural gas in the United States. The close-knit family now enjoys the finer things in life, sparing no expense. Each episode showcases the family members reaping the benefits of their newfound fortune, from hiring personal trainers to traveling to places they never imagined they'd visit. The colorful characters include parents Gerald and Kitten, adventurous son Gerald Jr. and Kitten's 90-year-old father, known only as Grandpa, who often spends his time on the phone talking to his many girlfriends. Now to complete the transition, they should move to Beverly ... Hills, that is.
